About Our Company

Who We Are

Textile Sector Skill Council (TSC) is the Awarding Body for the Textile and Handloom Sector with Pan India operations, approved by National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), GoI. TSC was established in 2014 under National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) on the recommendation of Ministry of Textiles, GoI. The initiative was led by the Confederation of Indian Textile Industries (CITI), the largest Textile Industry association in India, to develop a robust skill ecosystem for the entire value chain of Textiles from Fibre to fabric including Spinning, Weaving, Processing and Handlooms.
