The competencies expected from the candidate will be People management skills, Analytical Skills, Domain Expertise, SME, industry knowledge of Textile & Handloom Sector, Understanding Training & Business, Strategic Thinking, Effective Decision making, Team work and Leadership skills.

The incumbent should be below 55 years of age and have minimum educational qualification of Post-graduation/MBA/Charted Accountancy with minimum 20 years of experience out of which around ten years must be at Director/CXO position. He or she must have a thorough knowledge of Textile & Handloom sector. Knowledge of skilling in this sector would be of added advantage.
