Project Sankalp launched by Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM) is an innovative scheme by the industry, for the industry, and in the industry. To achieve the twin objective of providing industry relevant skills to the youth of the state and fulfilling the manpower requirements of the industry. 

It is extremely encouraging for the textile mills as well as the decentralised textile units of Gujarat, since they can now conduct short-term training using their existing facilities as per their demand.

All 91 job roles of Textile & Handloom Sector available at https://www.texskill.in/Job_Roles_Project_Sankalp.pdf or https://www.skillindia.gov.in/qpListings can be taken up and training cost is reimbursed as per the hourly cost (₹49/hr) defined in the common cost norms notification of MSDE. Further, mills can also provide training on their specific job roles.
